SAINT LEO, Fla. – The 11th-ranked Saint Leo University acrobatics and tumbling team honored its senior class of 2026 with a 252.645-227.520 win over West Liberty. The Lions recognized

Izzy Gillis,
Jessica Santiago, and
Kyra Walker for their immense contributions to the program over the last four years. Friday night's win extended Saint Leo's win streak to four games. The Lions improve to 4-1 overall in 2026 while the Hilltoppers fall to 2-6.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Saint Leo opened the meet by taking control in the Compulsory event, posting a 35.55 compared to West Liberty's 33.90 to establish an early advantage. The Lions were steady across all four heats, highlighted by a 9.30 in Pyramid and a 9.25 in Toss to build momentum heading into the optional events.
- The Green and Gold extended their lead in the Acro event, totaling 27.90 while West Liberty recorded a 23.80. Saint Leo's strongest mark came in the Seven Element heat with a 9.70, while also adding a 9.40 in the Five Element heat to widen the meet margin.
- Pyramid continued to be one of the Lions' strongest events of the afternoon. Saint Leo scored a 29.50 across the three heats, highlighted by a 9.90 in the Open heat and a 9.85 in the Synchronized heat. The clean execution helped the Lions maintain a comfortable lead midway through the meet.
- In Toss, Saint Leo recorded a 26.20, highlighted by a 9.00 in the Open heat and an 8.65 in the 450 Salto heat. While West Liberty stayed within striking distance in the event, the Lions maintained their overall advantage.
- Saint Leo delivered one of its strongest performances of the meet in Tumbling, scoring 53.675 compared to West Liberty's 45.350. The Lions posted a 9.60 in the Aerial Pass, a 9.50 in the Six Element Pass, and a 9.425 in the Open Pass to further extend the lead entering the final event.
- The Lions closed out the meet in the Team Event with a 79.82, sealing a 252.645 to 227.520 victory over West Liberty.

Saint Leo's home schedule is complete and the Lions will be on the road for the final three games of the season. Next up is a trip to Clinton, South Carolina to take on Presbyterian for the second time this season on March 19.
