#15 Men’s Golf Finishes Tied for 12th at First Federal Southeastern Collegiate

VALDOSTA, Ga. – The 15th-ranked Saint Leo men's golf team placed tied for 12th in the First Federal Southeastern Collegiate, hosted by Valdosta State at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Course. The Lions carded an 871 (+7) in the 16-team tournament.

Leading the Lions lineup was sophomore Micke Laurelli, who finished in a share of 18th after shooting a 73 (+1) in Tuesday's round to bring his total to 214 (-2).
Freshman Benjamin Morland recorded a 73 (+1) as well as he placed tied for 38th with a 218 (+2). Senior Enzo Barbaglia finished the tournament with a 76 (+4) after notching scores of 76 and 71 on day one to finish in a share of 57th.

Rounding out the Saint Leo golfers were juniors Maximilian Morgenstern and Nicklas Illi. Morgenstern tied for 62nd and Illi placed tied for 65th.

Competing as an individual for the Green & Gold was sophomore Marshall Bath, who posted a 235 (+19) for the tournament.

The Lions will compete in the opening day of the Shark Invitational, hosted by Nova Southeastern on March 23 with an 8:30 a.m. tee time.
