ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The #22-ranked Saint Leo women's golf team currently stands tied for fifth following the first day of the World Golf Invitational, hosted by Flagler at the World Golf Village Course on Monday.
Freshman
Maria Jaime leads the Lions lineup as she is in second with a 143, one-under, and is only two strokes away from a share of first. Freshman
McKenzee Sullivan and senior
Ana Valentina-Guarderas are in a share of 44th, with a 155 each. Graduate student
Maya Cote and sophomore
Iza Stahlevi are in 62nd with a 159.
The Lions will return to action tomorrow to conclude the Wolf Golf Invitational with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
