SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo University acrobatics & tumbling freshman
Addison Oakley has been named the Freshma of the Week by the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association as announced on Wednesday. Oakley becomes the third Lion to earn NCATA weekly honors and is the second this year, after
Carolyn Jackson was named Specialist of the Week last week.
Oakley, a base from Land O' Lakes, Fla., competed in five heats and team event for Saint Leo, recording four scores of 9.75 or higher, including a 9.95 in the acro five-element.
Oakley and the Lions are back on the mat next Friday as they host Lander at 6 p.m. on March 6 in the Marion Bowman Center Activities.
