SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo University acrobatics & tumbling junior
Carolyn Jackson has been named the Specialist of the Week by the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association as announced on Wednesday. Jackson is just the second Lion to earn the weekly honors by the association.
Jackson, a junior base from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., starred in the pyramid event for #11 Saint Leo this week. As a base in the event, Jackson helped SLU to three scores of 9.85 or higher, including a 10.0 in the open pyramid.
Jackson and the Lions are back on the mat this weekend hosting Presbyterian at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Marion Bowman Center Activities.
