SAINT LEO, Fla. – Following the first day of the 2026 Saint Leo Invitational, the 21st-ranked Saint Leo men's golf team currently sits in third place in the 17-team tournament at the Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club. The completion of round two was postponed to tomorrow due to darkness.
Leading the Lions lineup is freshman
Benjamin Morland, who is currently in 12th-place with a four-under (136) so far. During his first round, Morland tallied a pair of birdies on the front nine and one on the 17th hole.
Senior
Enzo Barbaglia, sophomore
Micke Laurelli, and junior
Nicklas Illi are in a share of 24th with a two-under. Junior
Maximilian Morgenstern is currently tied for 63rd with a three-over.
Saint Leo had several golfers competing as individuals that included sophomore
Marshall Bath, who is tied for 24th at two-under. Senior
Mathieu Lafontaine is in 53rd with a two-over. Senior
Ryan Letterly is tied for 63rd and carded a three-over on the first day while freshman
Paul Steele is in 80th with a seven-over.
The Lions will return to complete the remainder of the second round and then compete in the third round of the Saint Leo Invitational tomorrow Tuesday, February 17 with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
