BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Saint Leo University beach volleyball team opened its season Friday with a pair of matches at Webber International University. The Lions dominated both matches winning 5-0 to start the season 2-0.

Both matches saw the all but one court end in two sets. On the number one court, Thalie Brossard and Anna Intagliata took the first set (21-10) and closed out the 5-0 victory with a 15-12 win in the third set. Paige Reeves and Abrie Green needed an extra point to seal the match clinching court as the five pair.

Reeves once again was on the clinching court, this time paired with Caitlyn Kemer, the duo won 21-19 and 21-10 to clinch the match point. After a dominating first set win, 21-11, the number two pair of Madison Moore and Abby VanBuskirk dropped set two, 20-22, before clinching the third set victory, 19-17.
