SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo University sporting clays completed competition at the Lower East Conference Championships, held February 5–8 in Savannah, Georgia, finishing 12th overall against a competitive conference field.
Competing in the Classic All Around (CAA) division, the Lions were paced by Aubrey Wallace, who turned in a strong showing with a sixth-place finish in the women's Super Sporting discipline. Wallace also placed 20th overall in the Women's Classic All Around standings.
The Lions are coached by Mike D'Ambrosio, who guided a young Saint Leo roster through the championship event. The team featured just three second-year returners, with the remainder of the lineup competing in their first major collegiate tournament.
Saint Leo's weekend in Savannah served as a valuable growth opportunity, combining individual success with critical championship experience as the program continues to develop at the conference level.
