ALBANY, Ga. – The 23rd-ranked Saint Leo men's golf team currently sits in a share of ninth place following the opening day of the Hurricane Invitational, hosted by Georgia Southwestern as the Doublegate Country Club on Monday evening.
Freshman
Benjamin Morland leads the Lions' lineup as he is tied for 15th with a 145 (+1). Sophomore
Micke Laurelli is in 28th place as he carded a 148 (+4). Junior
Nicklas Illi posted an even 72 in the first round before recording a 78 (+6) for a 150 as is in 40th place. Senior
Enzo Barbaglia fired a 153 (+9) for a share of 55th place. Rounding out the Saint Leo lineup was senior
Ryan Letterly with a 156 (+12) as he posted scores of 76 and 80.
The Lions return to the links tomorrow, Tuesday September 23 as they conclude the Hurricane Invitational with the third round starting at 8:30 a.m.
