MELBOURNE, Fla. – Saint Leo men's golf graduate student Francois Cilliers was tabbed an All-Sunshine State Conference Third Team honoree, announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.

Cilliers collected his first career All-SSC nod. The South Africa native a trio of top-20 finishes that featured placing ninth at the Saint Leo Invitational while shooting three-under. Cillers placed 12th in a field of 75 golfers in the Georgia College & State Bobcat Invitational. During the fall in the Griffin Invitational, Cilliers registered an 18th-place finish with a six-over score.

The Lions will return to action on Monday, May 8 as it tees off in the opening day of the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional at Mission Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
