SARASOTA, Fla. – Saint Leo University beach volleyball opened back-to-back matches to close out the regular season with a 4-1 win at New College of Florida on Friday afternoon. With the win Saint Leo improved to 12-7 on the season.

Saint Leo saw the first pair go to the home team before winning the final four courts to earn the 4-1 victory. The Lions earned their first win from the number four pair of Erin Johnson and Paula Perez Rosales as duo needed three sets for the victory, 21-15, 15-21, 15-8. Paige Reeves and Madison Moore earned an exhibition win in three sets, 21-14, 19-21, 15-8. Kayla David and Oliwia Durka put the Lions on top for good with a two-set victory as the number three pair, 21-13, 21-14. The number one pair of Jeanette Henderson and Emma Miller earned a 21-17 and 21-12 win to give the visitors a 3-1 advantage. Emma Laade and Reagan Hopp closed out the match with a 21-14, 21-6 win as the number five pair.
