PENSACOLA, Fla. – Saint Leo University women's tennis dropped its final two matches of the season in Pensacola by the same 4-1 margin. The Lions lost a pair of matches to top-15 teams first in a neutral site match to #12 West Alabama before concluding its season with a 4-1 loss at #8 West Florida. The Lions end the 2025 season with an overall record of 13-10.
 
In the first match of the weekend, the Lions earned a doubles win at number two doubles, 6-2 from Claudia Borbon Roca and Camila Keller. The Tigers took the early 1-0 lead with doubles wins at number one and three.
 
Saint Leo's lone singles victory came at number four by Keller winning 6-4 and 6-2. West Alabama earned singles wins at number two, five and six to clinch the victory over the Lions. Kamilya Shailina earned a first set win 6-3 and was leading 5-2 when her match at number three singles was abandoned.
 
West Florida got off to an early lead, claiming the doubles point by with wins from its number two and three pairs. The Lions number one pair of Kamilya Shailina and Luiza Obermeier was leading 5-4 when the doubles point was clinched by the home team.
 
The Lions earned their lone singles victory from Claudia Borbon Roca at the number two singles spot with a 6-1 first set win and tiebreaker victory in the second set 7-6(4). West Florida clinched the match victory with wins from number one, three, and five singles.
