HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – #16 Saint Leo University women's golf held put in a tie for fifth place with #22 Florida Southern after the second round of the 2025 Sunshine State Conference Championships on Monday afternoon. The Lions shot a +15 as a team for the second straight round as the majority of the leaderboard remained the same. The three-round three-day tournament is being held at Mission Inn Resort + Golf Club in Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla. Olivia Deakins shot two-over in the 71-par round to lead the Lions lineup as she jumped up to spots to finish in a tie for sixth place on the 50-player leaderboard. # 9 Nova Southeastern holds a seven-stroke lead over second place #6 Lynn.

Olivia Deakins improved two spots on the player leaderboard as she shot a +2 in the second round to sit in a four-way tie for sixth place just four strokes off the leader, Lynn's Amelia Ruiz (E). Madeleine Pytura shot a +5 in the second round and moved just one-stroke outside of the top 10 as she also sits in a four-way tie for 14th place. Pia Perthen's +3 in the second round pushed her up a spot into a four-way tie for 18th place. Iza Stahlevi carded a +5 on Monday to improve three spots into a tie for 36th place. Ana Valentina-Guarderas carded a +9 in the second round to round out the  Lions lineup.
