MELBOURNE, Fla. – Saint Leo University beach volleyball saw two pairs earn All-Sunshine State Conference honors in the league's debut year of Beach Volleyball. Saint Leo's number one pair of Jeanette Henderson and Emma Miller earned first team honors and Reagan Hopp and Emma Laade were named to the second team. The quartet of Lions are inaugural All-SSC honorees.
 
Henderson and Miller posted an overall record of 11-6 primarily as the number one pair going 9-6. The duo also posted a 2-0 record as the number two pairing for the Green & Gold. Anchoring the backend of the Lions lineup, Reagan Hopp and Emma Laade went 10-4 overall primarily as the number five pair going 8-3. As the number four pairing, Hopp and Laade went 2-1.
 
The Lions went 12-8 overall on the season and 5-4 in matches against conference opponents. Saint Leo earned the number three seed at the inaugural SSC championship this weekend and will open against the six-seed Barry Buccaneers at the Saint Leo Beach Volleyball Courts on Friday morning.
 
All-conference pairs and individual award winners are determined by a vote of Sunshine State Conference head coaches with oversight and approval from member institution Athletic Directors.
