ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Saint Leo University beach volleyball extended its win streak to five with a pair of 5-0 wins in its home opener at the Saint Leo Beach Volleyball Courts on Tuesday. The Lions hosted Stevenson and Webber International for a tri-meet to open the home portion of its 2025 schedule. Saint Leo is now 8-6 overall.

Saint Leo dominated in a straight-sets sweep over SU, securing a 5-0 victory. Jeanette Henderson and Emma Miller set the tone with a commanding 21-17, 21-11 win at the top flight. Kayla David and Erin Johnson followed with a dominant 21-11, 21-7 performance at No. 2. At No. 3, Tajma Muharemovic and Oliwia Durka controlled the match, winning 21-11, 21-15. Madison Moore and Paula Perez Rosales continued the momentum with a 21-8, 21-15 victory at No. 4, while Emma Laade and Reagan Hopp sealed the sweep with a 21-16, 21-14 win at No. 5.

The Lions were firing on all cylinders all day as they completed the day with a 5-0 win over Webber International. Jeanette Henderson and Emma Miller set the pace with a decisive 21-11, 21-11 win at No. 1. Kayla David and Erin Johnson followed with a hard-fought 21-15, 21-16 victory at No. 2. Tajma Muharemovic and Oliwia Durka battled to a 21-17, 21-17 win at No. 3, while Madison Moore and Paula Perez Rosales cruised at No. 4 with a commanding 21-9, 21-3 performance. Emma Laade and Reagan Hopp sealed the sweep with a 21-17, 21-10 victory at No. 5.
