ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Saint Leo University beach volleyball earned a pair of wins on the final day of the 2025 Triton Invitational hosted by Eckerd College. The Lions opened the day with a 3-2 win over the host Eckerd before closing out the day with a 3-2 win over Liberty. Saint Leo improves to 6-6 overall.

Saint Leo earned wins over Eckerd at number one, four, and five to earn its fifth win of the season. Emma Laade and Reagan Hopp dropped an extra point affair in the opening set before rallying to win the second and third set for the victory. 

The Lions closed out the day with wins over the Flames at number two, three, and five to complete the sweep of the day two matches. Saint Leo got all three wins in two sets including a dominating first set performance by the number two flight of Kayla David and Erin Johnson, who held their opponent to just five points in the first set.
