SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo University women's tennis team fell 4-0 at #6 Flagler on Friday afternoon. The Lions saw their three-match win streak come to an end as they were shut out dropping to 9-2 overall while the Saints improved to 9-1 on the season.
Saint Leo opened the match with a 6-2 doubles win at number two doubles by
Claudia Borbon Roca and
Camila Keller. The lead did not last long as the home team earned doubles wins at number one and a tiebreaker win at number three to clinch the early lead.
The Saints made quick work of the Lions winning three singles courts.
Camila Keller was on track to earn a point for the Lions winning the first set 6-2 and was leading the second set 5-1 when the match was abandoned.
