PALM DESERT, Calif. – Junior golfer Olivia Deakins claimed the individual title at the 2025 Augustana Spring Fling as the #16 Saint Leo University women's golf took second place. The two-day, two-round tournament took place at Desert Willow Grand Resort in Palm Desert, California. Rollins took first place in the tournament with an eight-stroke lead over the Lions on the seven-team leaderboard.

Olivia Deakins closed out the tournament with a +5 after carding a +6 in the final round to claim the individual title. Deakins carded a trio of birdies including a pair on the front nine and carried a +2 into the back nine. While she had a rough start to the back nine she regrouped to par four of the final four holes to maintain a +6 over the final four holes. Iza Stahlevi and Ana Valentina-Guarderas drastically improved their positions on the player leaderboard over the final round. Stahlevi jumped up eight spots with a +2 to finish in the top 10 in a tie for eighth place. Valentina-Guarderas jumped up 14 spots as she shot one-over to finish in a tie for eighth place with her teammate. Madeleine Pytura shot a +5 over the final round to take 11th place. Maya Cote made the largest jump of the Lions lineup moving up 15 spots with a +6 in the final round to finish in a tie for 21st place.

Pia Perthen moved up one spot with a +7 in the final round to finish in a tie for 15th place to lead the group of individuals. Cajsa Strandberg shot a +8 to jump six spots to finish in a tie with Cote in 20th place. Carmen Phousirith carded a +8 in the final round for a 36th-place finish. Sophia Raab rounded out the Lions with a 41st-place finish.
