SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's golf team recently partnered with the lady member of the Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club yesterday afternoon for a clinic and nine-holes of golf.
"It was a great afternoon at Lake Jovita with over 20 participants joining us," said head coach
Lyndsey Bevill. Bevill also stated, "Our team really enjoyed running the clinic and spending time with the members. From chipping and bunker work to playing nine holes together, it was a fun way to share the game and build connections. I'm proud of all eight of our players for the way they represented Saint Leo, and we're grateful to Lake Jovita for their continued support of our program."
The Clinic began on the practice facility, where participants rotated through stations focused on chipping and bunker play. Afterwards, members teamed up with the student-athletes to play nine holes together on the Lake Jovita course, creating an opportunity for both instruction and camaraderie.
Saint Leo returns to the links on Monday, October 13 as it competes in the 12th Annual LeeAnn Noble Memorial, hosted by North Georgia with tee time slated for 8 a.m.
