TOCCOA, Ga. - The #17-ranked Saint Leo women's golf team wrapped up its fall season at the Ralph Hayes Toyota D2 Elite Invitational, hosted at the Currahee Club in Toccoa, Georgia. The Lions finished 13th in a competitive field with a total score of 620 (301–319). The second round of play was canceled due to inclement weather, shortening the tournament to two rounds.
McKenzee Sullivan led the way for Saint Leo, tying for 28th overall with a total of 150 (+6). Sullivan opened strong with a one-under-par 71 (-1) before closing with a 79 (+7).
Ana Valentina-Guarderas followed with rounds of 77 (+5) and 78 (+6) to finish tied for 47th at 155 (+11).
Carmen Phousirith and Maria Ines Jaime both tied for 59th at 159 (+15), with Phousirith posting scores of 75 (+3) and 84 (+12), and Jaime carding 78 (+6) and 81 (+9).
Iza Stahlevi rounded out the lineup, tying for 72nd with rounds of 80 (+8) and 81 (+9) for a total of 161 (+17).
Despite challenging weather and course conditions, the #17 Lions and Lyndsey Bevill capped off their fall schedule with a strong effort against a talented field. Saint Leo now turns its attention to the spring season, aiming to build on the experience and momentum gained this fall.
