PALM HARBOR, Fla. – The 24th-ranked Saint Leo men's golf team placed eighth in the Copperhead Championship, hosted by West Florida, at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club.
The Lions were led by senior
Enzo Barbaglia as he posted a total of 215 (two-over) for 11th place. She registered scores of 74, 67, and 74. Freshman
Benjamin Morland recorded an even 71 today and moved up 15 spots to place tied for 26th. Morland's final round produced four birdies on the front nine.
Junior
Nicklas Illi posted a 76 in Tuesday's round to bring his total to 224 (11-over) for a share of 48th. Junior
Micke Laurelli placed in a share of 71st with a 229 (16-over).
Rounding out the lineup was sophomore
Ethan Keys, who carded a 227 (14-over).
Competing as an individual was sophomore
Tommy Tyler as he shot a 77 in the final round to record a total score of 240 (27-over).
The Lions return to action on Monday, October 20 as they compete in the first day of the Patriot Fall Classic, hosted by Lander.
