HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The 12th ranked Saint Leo men's golf team finished second place in the Griffin Invitational after the final round on Tuesday afternoon at the Mission Inn Resort + Golf Club. The Lions carded a 294 (10-over) in the third round as they wrapped up the two-event with an 869 (17-over).

The Green and Gold lineup was led by junior Enzo Barbaglia, the runner-up in the 68-golfer field with a 211 (two-under) after recording a 75 (four-over) in Tuesday's round. Senior Murphy Allard finished in a share of 12th place following a 72 (one-over), bringing his total to 217 (four-over). Graduate Student Francois Cilliers went six over in the tournament as he stayed consistent with a one-over 72, three-over 74, and a two-over 73 as he tied for 18th.

Rounding out the Lions' scorers were sophomore Nicklas Illi and graduate student Brendan Porter. Illi placed tied for 43rd, moving up 10 slots, after shooting three-over (74) in the last round for a 227. Porter notched a 76 (five-over) in the final round to place tied for 49th with a 229.

Junior Carl Gustin, sophomore Marshall Bath, and sophomore Piero Rojas competed as individuals for the Lions. Gustin finished tied for third place following a 74, 69, and 71 performance. Bath tied for 18th as he registered a 219 (six-over). Rojas finished Tuesday in a share of 40th with a 226 (13-over).

Palm Beach Atlantic claimed the team title with an 865 (13-over). Reggie Fear captured the individual crown as he shot eight-under (205).
