GAINESVILLE, Ga. – The 13th-ranked Saint Leo University men's golf team finished the 2024 NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional in 10th place just seven strokes off a NCAA Championship berth following the final round of the championship. The Lions saw their second come to an end at the regionals for a second straight season. Saint Leo finished five spots ahead of last season's 15th place finish.
The Lions shot a +12 in the final round of the regional championship. After opening the day in fifth place, Saint Leo dropped five spots over the final round to take 10th place.
Saint Leo was led by
Brendan Porter who shot par in the final round to finish in a tie for 17th place to lead the Lions lineup.
Enzo Barbaglia carded a +4 in the third round to finish in a tie for 32nd place.
Jake Nash finished in a tie for 40th place.
Adrian Soriano (T-70th) and
Alex Heck (T-76th) rounded out the Lions lineup.
