BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 13th-ranked Saint Leo University men's golf team sits in a tie for sixth place after the first day of the 2024 Sunshine State Conference Championships. The three-day, three-round tournament is being held at the Osprey Point Golf Club in Boca Raton, Florida and hosted by Lynn University.
Saint Leo shot a -4 and sits in a tie for sixth place with Florida Southern.
Brendan Porter shot 5 under, carding six birdies and is in forth place.
Adrian Soriano shot a -1 to sit in a tie for 21st place.
Alex Heck and
Enzo Barbaglia are both tied for 28th place after they shot a +1.
Jake Nash rounded out the lineup in a tie for 40th place.

Saint Leo returns for the second day looking to gain some significant ground as the second round begins at 8 a.m. on Monday morning. The Lions will be paired with fifth-place Nova Southeastern Sharks. The first pairing for Saint Leo is scheduled to tee off at 8:00 a.m. from the first hole.
