LAKELAND, Fla. – The 12th-ranked Saint Leo University men's golf team began the 2024 spring championship season at the Matlock Collegiate Classic hosted by Florida Southern College at Lone Palm Golf Course in Lakeland on Monday. The Lions sit in a tie for third place after 36 holes of golf.
Individually two Lions are in the top five.
Jake Nash (139, -5) shot a -5 to sit in a tie for second place and is one stroke off the lead.
Adrian Soriano (141, -3) jumped five spots to close out the day in a tie for fifth place.
Brendan Porter (146, +2) sits in a tie for 19th place.
Alex Heck (153, +9) and
Enzo Barbaglia (156, +12) round out the Lions lineup from day one.
