FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Saint Leo University women's soccer team hit the road for an evening Sunshine State Conference match up at Nova Southeastern University. The Lions conceded a pair of goals to the Sharks as their attack was silenced for a second straight game.

Morgan Gamin accounted for two of the three shots taken by the Lions with one on goal. Junior captain

NOVA SOUTHEASTERN 2, SAINT LEO 0
- The Sharks attack tested the Lions defense early, forcing Goetzer to make a pair of saves on three shot attempts in the first 17 minutes.
- The pressure continued from the home team as Nova Southeastern added to its shot total. In a 90 second span, NSU fired off a pair of shots one off target while the second shot found the back of the net for the lone score of the opening half.
- Gamin had the Lions first shot attempt of the game as her shot to the bottom right was saved by the Sharks keeper.
- Gamin closed out the first half with her second shot of the game in the final seconds of the first half but her shot went off target.
- Just as the game began, the Sharks attack came out of the halftime break swinging. Nova Southeastern fired off seven shots in the first 12 minutes of the second half, forcing Goetzer to make a pair of saves to keep it a one goal game.
- The home team was awarded a penalty kick in the 61st minute. Goetzer made her third save of the half and fifth of the game once again keeping it a 1-0 game.
- In the 76th minute, Ainsley Meyer gave the lions a little bit of hope as she fired off her first shot of the game but it was wide off target.
- In the 88th minute, the Sharks made it a 2-0 game as shot number 21 on the night found the back of the net.
