LAKE CITY, Fla. - The Saint Leo University men's cross country team returned to the course on Friday to compete in Alligator Lake Open sponsored by Florida Gateway College. The men's 5k race took place at the Alligator Park in Lake City. Joining the Lions in the race was Barry, Florida Gateway College, and FSCJ.
Sawyer Raveling finished sixth place to lead the Lions with a time of 16:51.2.
Matthew Coronel finished with a time of 19:30.1 to take 26th place. Kyle Desmond (21:07.9) and
Sebastian Pomales (21:50.9) took 29th and 30th.
Darion Lowery (22:30.5) and
Isaiah Ramcharitar (22:47.4) rounded out the pack at 32nd and 34th place.

Saint Leo now gets ready for the Sunshine State Conference championship meet set to take place at Lakeland's Holloway Park on Friday, October 25. The race will begin at 7:30 a.m.
