PETERSBURG, Va. - Saint Leo men's golf is leading the way by 11 strokes after the first two rounds of the Griffin Invitational hosted at the Country Club of Petersburg Monday. The Lions saw 5 golfers in the field of 87 inside the top-15 led by Jake Nash seven-under 137 to lead the way. 

Jake Nash has put himself in a prime position heading into the final round tomorrow carding a (-5, 137) as he sits alone in 1^st place on the leaderboards.
Mathieu Lafontaine is sitting in third place two spots behind Nash by two strokes.

Enro Barbaglia played the first two rounds solid as he sits tied for fifth at 142 (-2) scoring a 74-68. Adrian Soriano finished Monday's rounds tied for ninth after posting a respectable one-under through both rounds with a 71-72.
 
Soriano is sitting at 145 after both rounds looking to pick up the pace and close in the top 5 for the Green and Gold. Alex Heck isn't too far behind tied for 14^th place after the second round to end at 145 (+1) with 72-73 for the day. 

Two other golfers found themselves inside the top-half of the field with Carl Gustin and Kyle Freudeman climbing up the board with Gustin ties at 26^th and Freudeman tied at 36^th, respectively .
 
Brett White in tied at 67^th at 155 (+11) and Nicklas Illi in 72^nd at 158 (+14) rounding out the day for The Green & Gold.

Saint Leo and the other 13 teams return to the course Tuesday morning for the third and final round of the Griffin Invitational at the Country Club of Petersburg.
