SAINT LEO, Fla - The 2023 D2 ADA Academic Achievement awards have been announced with 151 Saint Leo represented.
The Academic Achievement Awards (ADA), in its 16th year, is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishment of student-athletes at the Division II level.
This year, the ADA saw a record-breaking 19,646 student-athletes from 196 institutions recognized for this year's achievements.
Since the ADA's program started in 2007-08, there has been a total of 147,622 student-athlete nominees recognized for their academic achievements at the Division II level.
Students who received this honor had to reach the following requirements in order to be represented:
. a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
. have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work
. have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year
