Beach Volleyball Finishes Regular Season at Osprey Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Saint Leo beach volleyball team wrapped up the final day of the Osprey Invitational Saturday afternoon to close their 2023 regular season. The Lions fell during the final day of the invitational to University of North Carolina Wilmington, 1-4 and #19 University of North Florida, 1-4.

Saint Leo opened the final day against University of North Carolina Wilmington. The Lions fell, four sets to one. The pairing of Elizabeth Sandoval and LeeAnn Potter earned the only victory of the first match, defeating Jadyn Barry and Sarah Thompson, 21-18, 18-21, and 15-12.

 The Green & Gold closed out their last match of the Osprey Invitational falling to #19 University of North Florida, 1-4.

Saint Leo will begin the AVCA Small College Beach Championships, April 14th to April 16th in Tavares, Florida.
