SAINT LEO, FL. – The #3 Saint Leo University Women's tennis team fell to #4 Lynn University 3-4 in a tight matchup.

DOUBLES
The #2 duo of Marta Vicens Miquel and Lavinia Lancellotti won their matchup 6-1 while the other two matches went to Lynn.

SINGLES
#50 Luzia Obermeier won the first Green & Gold matchup in singles with a 6-4, 6-1 score. She was followed by Lavinia Lancellotti and Kamilya Shailina.
 
Despite a very tough battle between the two powerhouses, Lynn finished on top with a 4-3 win over the Lions.
 
"A battle as expected today and unfortunately, we came out on the short end, "said Coach Chad Berryhill. "We knew doubles would be key. We competed hard and had some tough match ups, but we needed just a little more today. It is good for us to play these close matches and learn from them."

Up next, The Lions travel to Winter Park, Florida as they set their eyes on Rollins. The match is scheduled for April 12th at 3:30pm.
