LAKE NONA, FL – The #3 Saint Leo Women's Tennis team won both matchups versus Ferris State and Augustana by scores of 4-0 and 4-1 respectively.
 
In doubles action, the #15 ranked duo of Marta Vicens Miquel and Lavinia Lancellotti led the way in both matchups with a 6-2 win versus Augustana and a 7-5 win over Ferris State.  They were followed up by the duo of Kamilya Shailina and Luzia Obermeier who were victorious in both games as well with a 6-2 win over Augustana and a 6-3 win against Ferris State.
 
In singles action,#9 Marta Vicens Miquel got the team kickstarted with a 6-1, 6-0 win versus Augustana while #7 Claudia Borbon Roca followed her with a 6-0, 7-5 win.
 
The Green & Gold walked away with a 4-1 over Augustana and a 4-0 win over Ferris State.
 
"Two good wins for the Ladies today," said Head Coach Chad Berryhill. "Definitely a hot day and tough playing twice in one day but our ladies handled it very well."
