SAINT LEO, FL – The Saint Leo Acrobatics & Tumbling achieve first victory of the season in a tri-meet versus Frostburg State and East Stroudsburg.

Saint Leo took home their first win of the season during today's tri-meet.
Hanna Hanulik and Alexis Carvallo contributed to the team's overall score with their solo tumbling passes which earned minimal deductions. Additionally, pyramid heat 2 and 3 as well as compulsory toss and pyramid scored in the 9's.

Saint Leo will be traveling to Maryland to go against Stevenson on March 14th with the meet starting at 6:00pm.

Acrobatics & Tumbling, a discipline of USA Gymnastics, is the evolution of different forms of gymnastics and involves tumbling, tosses, and acrobatic lifts and pyramids. Teams participate in head-to-head competition and are scored in six events, including Compulsory, Acro, Pyramid, Toss, Tumbling, and Team.
