Women’s Soccer Falls on Road to Rollins

WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's soccer traveled to Rollins College and was handed a 1-3 loss Wednesday night. The Lions found themselves in tough weather conditions and couldn't pull out the win after a valiant effort.

The Lions were paced Carmen Reinerink with a pair of shots including a very impressive goal in the 87th minute of this hard-fought battle. Elise McDonald was also able to get off a shot on goal as she was aggressive looking to get on the board early.

Despite the efforts, Rollins netted an early goal in the third minute, followed by another one right before the halftime period in the 45th minute to take a 2-0 lead.
