RESULTS
SAINT LEO,Fla. – The Saint Leo University Men's swimming team dropped their meet Friday afternoon at home to Sunshine State Conference opponent Rollins College, 96-107. Saint Leo now sits at 2-4 overall.
The Lions finished the afternoon with seven top finishes for a combined 14 top 3 finishes.
The Green & Gold started off the afternoon with a first place finish in the 200 yard medley relay with the team of
Nino Viallon,
Carlos Nava, Lucas Minuer,
Szymon Leszega with a time of 3:28.32.
Alex Clark won the men's 1000 free touching the wall at 10:18.09. Minuer captured the Lions third victory of the afternoon, placing first in the 200 free with his time of 1:43.00. Leszega finished right behind him placing second at 1:45.10.
In the 50 yard freestyle,
Lamar Rodov collected a first place finish for the Lions with a time of 22.06. Viallon continued his good afternoon earning a top finish in the 200 IM with a time of 1:57.55. Clark also earned a top three finish in the 200 IM, touching the wall at 2:03.17.
Devin Green earned a second place finish in the 200 fly with his time of 1:58.05. Rodov earned a top three finish, placing second with his time of 47.67. Viallon placed first in the 200 backstroke with his time of 1:56.74, while
Alexandr Pomozov placed third at 1:59.57. Nava earned a second place finish in the 200 breaststroke touching the wall at 2:10.60.
The quartet of Green, Leszega, Rodov, and Minuer closed out the afternoon with a first place finish in the 400 yard freestyle relay with their time of 3:06.89.
The Lions will return to action at the Marion Bowman Aquatics Center tomorrow as they welcome Florida Tech. The meet kicks off at 12:00 P.M.
