ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Saint Leo University Women's soccer team fell from the ranks of the unbeaten by an unlikely opponent Wednesday night, as the Lions fell in a massive 1-0 upset for the Eckerd College Tritons at Johnson Field.
For the second, consecutive match, Saint Leo (5-1-1, 1-1 SSC) was held to 10 shots, this time with just four landing on target. Eckerd (4-1, 1-0 SSC) came out with a sharp attack, registering a season-high 21 shots.

Maitane Bravo recorded a season-high 11 saves in the Lions' conference opener.
The lone goal came in the 82nd minute of the contest as EC's Aisling Spillane delivered the finish from a pass by Krystal Torres.
Wednesday night marked the fifth time in program history that the Tritons bested the Lions.
