Box Score ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - #8 Saint Leo Women's Tennis improved to 15-1 on the year with another shutout win on their schedule, this time a 7-0 win over the Eckerd Tritons on the road. 

In doubles play, the number one team of Nina Furmaniak and Alina Fedulova were perfect winning 6-0 in their match against Eckerd. It's the eighth win for the pairing on the season. The number two team of Celina Ermann and Elan Mnatsakanov lost just one set, winning 6-1, and the same story played with the number three team with Kamilya Shailina and Maria Valverde Soler staying perfect on the season with a 6-1 win to improve to 5-0 on the year. 

In singles, Marta Vicens Miquel improved to 13-1 with her 2-0 win over Eckerd's number one player, going 6-0, 6-0 in her match. Kamilya Shailina lost just one set in her match, winning 6-1, 6-0 to improve to 10-0 on the stay perfect on the year. Maria Valverde Soler made quick work in her match, winning 6-0, 6-1 to improve to 11-2 on the season. Isabella Ciancaglini also lost just one set in her match to win 2-0. Elan Mnatsakanov went to three sets to capture her match win, and Jade Bellegy won 2-0 to get her second win of the season. 

The Lions improve to 15-1 on the season and 6-1 in conference play before hosting #1 Barry on Saturday, April 9 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Leo Tennis Center.
