SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo beach volleyball team recorded two more victories, the Lions' 13^th straight victory during the program's senior day on Tuesday, April 5. Saint Leo, now with a 19-7 season record, took two from Southeastern University; 5-0, 4-1. The Green and Gold thanked graduate student Nina Vattovaz for five fantastic seasons and Morgan Maddox for three seasons on the Saint Leo Beach Volleyball Courts.
 
Vattovaz and first pairings partner, Jeanette Henderson came back from a tight first set loss to preserve the first match clean sweep. The dynamic duo broke out the three-set victory; 19-21, 22-20, 15-10.
 
On the flip side, Ally-Reese Williams and Emma Miller cruised to dominate two-set third pairing victory; 21-11, 21-6.
 
The Lions quenched the Fire in match two securing dubs from the first, second, third, and fifth pairings.

The Lions will wrap up the 2022 season on the road. Over the weekend, Saint Leo will compete in the Paradise Classic in Boca Raton, Fla. On Friday, April 8, the Green and Gold is scheduled to face Florida Gulf Coast University at noon followed by a 2:00 p.m. match with Palm Beach Atlantic. Saint Leo will face the tournament hosts, Florida Atlantic University, in its final match of the weekend, set for Saturday, April 9 at 11:00 a.m.
