BRADENTON, Fla. – The No. 3 Saint Leo women's tennis team, seeded third in the 2022 Sunshine State Conference Tournament Championship, fell 4-1 to the No. 2 Nova Southeastern Sharks, ranked second in the conference championship. The SSC Semifinal loss moved the Lions' overall record to 19-3.
 
Lavinia Lancellotti had a perfect day, taking her second doubles match with partner Marta Vicens Miquel; 6-4. She followed up her work by securing a win in fourth singles; 6-3, 6-2.
