Box Score BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No. 8 Saint Leo women's tennis team took down the No. 9 Lynn Fighting Knights, 5-2, on a rainy Saturday morning in Boca Raton, Fla. The Lions' Top-10 victory raised the Green and Gold's overall record to 14-1, 5-1 in the Sunshine State Conference.
 
The Lions secured the doubles points taking the first and second flights. Nina Furmaniak and Alina Fedulova earned a 6-1 win over No. 4 Karyna Bihel and Jacqueline Wagner in the first doubles flight. Meanwhile, Marta Vicens Miquel and Lavinia Lancelotti defeated their second flight opponents, 6-3.
 
No. 33 Marta Vicens Miquel, No. 25 Nina Furmaniak and Lavinia Lancelotti recorded the first three single wins in the top three flights, respectively, to claim the match at 4-0. No. 52 Kamilya Shailina handed the Green and Gold their fifth point of the match in the sixth flight.
 
Saint Leo continues action on the road. On Tuesday, April 5 the Lions will travel to St. Augustine, Fla. to meet the Flagler Saints at 2:00 p.m.
