Box Score FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The No. 5 Saint Leo women's tennis team took their first loss of the season on Saturday at No. 3 Nova Southeastern. The Lions fell 5-2 to the Sharks, moving their record to 21-1 overall, 3-1 in the Sunshine State Conference.
 
The Sharks swept doubles to take the early lead, 1-0. Both of the Green and Gold's points in singles play came down to a three-set decision. Lavinia Lancellotti took the fourth singles match 3-6, 7-5, 0-1. Meanwhile, Kamilya Shailina earned a victory over her sixth flight nationally ranked opponent, No. 11 Nika Kozar; 6-1, 6-3, 7-5.
 
The Lions will look to return to their winning ways back at home on Tuesday, March 22. The weekday match hosts West Virginia State, first serve is set for 3:00 p.m. inside the Saint Leo Tennis Center.
