ORLANDO, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's golf team wrapped up the first day of the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational second of 12 teams competing at the Orange Tree Golf Club. The strong start was propelled by Francesca Santoni and Pia Perthen, who are tied in third place together.
 
Santoni and Perthen swamped scores with Santoni scoring 74 and Perthen tallying 75 in the first round for a first day total of 149 (+5).
 
Rose Morissette, competing as an individual, is currently tied for 11 recording 75 and 79 for a 154 (+10).
 
The Lions will wrap up the two-day tournament tomorrow, Tuesday, March 15 at 8:00 a.m.
