ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. –
Francesca Santoni of the Saint Leo women's golf team placed first at the World Golf Invitational on Tuesday. Santoni handed in an impressive score of 69 to beat the course by three and lift Saint Leo to second place as the invitational runner-ups. The Green and Gold shot a 286 on Tuesday following their tally of 296 on Monday for a final score of 582 (+6). Saint Leo finished second under Nova Southeastern (290-287-577) and above third place contenders Rollins (295-305-600).
