JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Saint Leo beach volleyball team went 1-1 in the final day of the Jacksonville Dolphin Duels at the Payne Sand Volleyball Courts. The Lions blanked Erskine 5-0 to open the day but then took a 5-0 loss from Palm Beach Atlantic. The split day moved the Green and Gold's overall record to 5-3.
 
The Lions first pairing of Vattovaz and Henderson come home with five wins together. Meanwhile, third duo Williams and Miller are 6-2 on the season after clinching a three-set match against Erskine.
 
Flanagan and Reinhard at the four spot also tallied victories after clinching a three-set match early Saturday morning.

Saint Leo will head to Eckerd to compete in the Battle on the Bay. The two-day tournament is set to begin on Friday, March 4 in St. Petersburgh, Fla. The Lions are slated to face Missouri State at 10 a.m. followed by a 2:30 p.m. match against the College of Charleston.
 
On Saturday, March 5, the Green and Gold will face Tampa and Eckerd at 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., respectively.
