CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Saint Leo men and women's swimming teams completed day four of the Sunshine State Conference Championships on Saturday.
In the women's 100-yard backstroke, Saint Leo Lion,
Anett Daka, tied with Tegan Michalek of Florida Southern a fourth place finish with a time of 55.91.
In event 23 of the day, the women's 100-yard breaststroke
Emma Bjoernholdt (1:04.56) and
Elze Bielskute (1:04.85) finished sixth and seventh, respectively.
In men's action,
Carlos Nava finished six in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 55.09.
The Lions are set to close out the championship on Sunday, Feb 20 inside The Long Center in Clearwater, Florida, starting at 10:00 a.m.
