LEESBURGH, Fla. – The Saint Leo beach volleyball team cruised to a pair of victories on Saturday to open the 2022 season. The Lions swept both Warner and Lake Sumter 5-0 tallying a confident 2-0 start. Saint Leo opened the day against Warner at 1:00 p.m. and kept the slate clean at 3:00 p.m. against the hosts, Lake Sumter.

Nina Vattovaz and
Jeanette Henderson held Warner's top duo to single digits. Vattovaz and Henderson dominated the day going 21-8, 21-9 against Warner and 21-3, 21-9 against Lake Sumter.
