BOONE, N.C. – The Saint Leo women's track team competed at the Appalachian State inside the Holmes Convocation Center.
 
Anna O'Connor paces the Lions capturing a pair of first-place finishes. The Ireland native won the 5000-meter run with a final time of 19:16.94. She later topped the competition in the 3000-meter run crossing the finish line at 11:07.49.
 
Meanwhile, teammate Kerry Reilly brought home a second-place finish in the mile run event. Reilly posted a final time of 5:34.25 for the top-tier time.
 
Up next, the Lions will head to the Jaguar Invite on Saturday, Feb 5 in Birmingham, Ala.
