#5 Men's Golf Places Fourth at Bobcat Invitational

EATONTON, Ga. - No. 5 Saint Leo men's golf placed fourth at the Bobcat Invitational on the par-70 6,730-yard Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee after a final round 281 (+1) for a 54-hole score of 861 (+21). 

Colin Kresl led all Saint Leo golfers with a fourth place finish at one-under for the tournament after firing a four-under 66 Tuesday for a two day score of 209 (-1). Oliver Lilliedahl carded an even-par 70 Tuesday to finish at 214 (+4) in 11th place. Alberto Castagnara climbed nine spots to finish in the top-half of the field at 219 (+9). 

Kresl was named to the Bobcat Invitational All-Tournament Team following the tournament. 

Young Harris College's Tobias Jonsson claimed the medalist honors by two-strokes at 204 (-6) after rounds of 74-64-66. Hosts' Georgia College won the team race by a stroke over USC-Aiken 847 (+7) to 848 (+8).

Saint Leo University Athletics is keeping our student-athletes healthy and safe by following a number of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This includes having student-athletes tested or screened on a regular basis, traveling in smaller groups, holding competitions without fans in attendance, avoiding overnight trips, and wearing masks when not competing. These safety standards meet those set by the NCAA Division II and the Sunshine State Conference President's Council. At Saint Leo University, the COVID-19 Incident Command Team also reviews the teams' safety protocol and monitors adherence on a regular basis.
