#8 Men's Golf Wraps Up Action at the Southeastern Intercollegiate

VALDOSTA, Ga. – No. 8 Saint Leo men's golf concluded play at the Southeastern Intercollegiate on the par-72 7,365-yard course at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club Tuesday, where the team placed sixth overall. Alberto Castagnara led the Green and Gold finishing at even-par 216 for the tournament in 17th place.
 
As a team, the Lions shot a 288 for the final round to finish at 870 (+6) solidifying the sixth-place spot.
 
Oliver Lilliedahl carded a final round 72 (E) to add to his 36-hole score of 146 (+2) for a 54-hole score of 218 (+2). Colin Kresl fired off the low round of the day for the Lions with 2 under par 70 in round three giving him a total tournament score of 220 (+4) placing him at 26th overall.
 
No. 23 Georgia Southwestern took the team title as Lee University's Beck Burnette, took home medalist honors with a tournament score of 209 (-7).

Saint Leo University Athletics is keeping our student-athletes healthy and safe by following a number of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This includes having student-athletes tested or screened on a regular basis, traveling in smaller groups, holding competitions without fans in attendance, avoiding overnight trips, and wearing masks when not competing. These safety standards meet those set by the NCAA Division II and the Sunshine State Conference President's Council. At Saint Leo University, the COVID-19 Incident Command Team also reviews the teams' safety protocol and monitors adherence on a regular basis.
