TAMPA, Fla. - The Saint Leo men's swimming team competed in the first day of a two day dual meet on Saturday versus 12th-ranked Tampa at the UT Aquatics Center. This is the last meet the Lions will be competing in before going on a four week break.
INSIDE THE MATCHUP:

TOP PERFORMERS:
- The Lions 400 medley relay team consisting of Hampus Lovinge, Jakub Kwasny, Carlos Nava, and Szymon Leszega took first place beating out two other Tampa teams. The realy team finished with a time of 3:24.05. The same four also make up the 400 freestyle relay, and the Lions took first place in that race as well with a time of 3:04.08.
- Carlos Nava also finished in second in the 200 IM as the only Lion in that race. Nava finished with a time of 1:55.18, beating out Tampa's Ruster Grant by nine tenth's of a second.
- Devin Green took first place in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:41.69
- Green and Leszega also took two of the top three spots in the 100 freestyle. Leszega finished in first place with a time of 46.11, and Green beat out Tampa's Hugo Bustamante with a time of 47.38.
UP NEXT:
Saint Leo will return to Tampa on Sunday, Nov. 21 for the final day of the meet with the Spartans, with the first race scheduled for 11:00 AM.
